01 / BRING YOUR PAST WORK WITH YOU

Three steps.
A considered move.

The website never asks for your training file. Import happens inside the app, where you can inspect what will be added.

  1. 01

    Export from Strong.

Use Strong’s CSV export and save the file on your device. Keep an untouched copy. Export options vary by Strong version; check the compatibility notes below before continuing.

  2. 02

    Review in TrainHere.

Open Settings → Manage data → Strong / CSV import. If you are new, finish app setup first. Select the file, check exercise matches, weight units and the export’s original UTC offset, then choose Preview import.

  3. 03

    Confirm your history.

Check the counts for new workouts, matched sets, source-note entries and duplicates. Choose Confirm and add history. Open History and spot-check a few workouts against your original export.

02 / KNOW WHAT COMES WITH YOU

A clear preview.
No surprises.

Matching an exercise means choosing the same movement and equipment, not just a similar name. Leave an uncertain match unassigned until you can review it.

Workouts and strength sets

Supported exports bring workout names and dates, plus matched repetitions and loads. Recognized warm-up and working sets become logged sets; available RPE is carried into effort tracking.

Original details stay readable

Timers, notes, unmapped exercises, timed or distance work, and drop/failure entries are preserved in source notes. They do not all become tracked strength sets or contribute to the same charts.

Existing history stays in place

Import adds history. Reimporting the same workout date and name skips the existing record, including one you have edited. It does not replace your active program.

Device first, optional sync

Files are parsed on your device. If you are signed in with history sync enabled, imported history follows that setting. The marketing website and its analytics never receive the file.

CHECK BEFORE YOU IMPORT

The file matters.

TrainHere currently accepts Strong workout CSVs with a Duration (sec) column, plus date, workout name, exercise name, set order, reps and a weight column. Older exports with a different duration format may be rejected.

Weights & dates

Explicit kg/lb column labels take precedence. A plain Weight column uses the unit you select. Strong timestamps have no timezone: choose the original UTC offset. Split exports spanning different offsets if needed.

Measurements & size

Supported measurement CSV/ZIP files contain body weight in kg/lb or waist in cm. Other measurements are not supported. The importer’s total file limit is 5 MB.

Import behavior checked against TrainHere’s importer on 28 September 2026. Strong is a separate product; this guide does not imply a partnership.
